Following the success of last year’s Constituency Youth Council, I am excited to announce that the CYC 2017/2018 applications are now open!
If you are between the ages of 15-24, and a resident of Coquitlam-Port Coquitlam, I want to hear from you!
The CYC began in November 2016 as an initiative of Prime Minister Trudeau, and after a successful first year, we are looking for more youth to join the conversation on #YouthMatters.
This is a nonpartisan council that will focus on bringing a diverse set of perspectives to the conversation. The youth that are chosen will gain valuable leadership skills, have their voices heard, and earn volunteer hours. Members will be able to better understand the federal political process and gain valuable leadership experience.
Applications are due by 11:59 pm, on Monday, October 30th, 2017.
